Alfa Energy Becomes Member of U.S. Green Building Council

alfaenergy has become a member of the U.S. Green Building Council this month.

This marks one of many steps the company has taken to help improve global energy efficiency. It will now join the likes of Verizon, Honeywell International, Bank of America, and many more in creating a sustainable future.

“Being a part of the USGBC will be an amazing way to connect with other sustainably-focused individuals from across many industries. We are excited to now be a part of this organization and look forward to networking with many industry leaders,” said director of alfaenergy’s US branch, Kenan Kreso.

The U.S. Green Building Council is a diverse group made up of 76 chapters and 12,800 member organizations who seek to improve building efficiency and create a better, greener future for the next generation. Along with advocacy, education, conferences, and providing credentials, the USGBC is best known for LEED.

LEED is a globally used green building certification program which guides the design, construction, operations, and maintenance of buildings, ensuring that they fulfill certain prerequisites. The USGBC currently comprises of 193,000 LEED professionals and more than 54,000 projects are participating in LEED.
