Alfa Energy has been shortlisted for the Energy Buying Team of the Year award at the 2017 The Energy Consultancy Awards (TELCA). In the category for Industry Expert, Clive Ferrey, Head of Industrial & Commercial Sales, and Gianluigi Corbani, Operations Partner & Delivery Manager, have also been nominated for their individual contributions within Alfa Energy.
“I am delighted that Alfa Energy has been nominated for the prestigious Energy Buying Team award,” said Jason Durden, Head of Energy Markets and Risk Management. “It recognises the successes being made in transitioning the business from its highly successful SME broker heritage into a leading and truly independent consultancy offering risk-managed procurement solutions for SME and I&C clients with international reach.”
Alfa Energy was also shortlisted for the Energy Buying Team of the Year award in 2016. This year, however, is the first time two Alfarians were nominated for the same category: Industry Expert.
“I am frankly astonished to be actually nominated! My thanks to TELCA and may the best man (or woman) win on the night”, said Gianluigi, while Clive found the nomination to be “ truly an honour, and [he’s] delighted to represent the company at such a prestigious event.”
Last year at the same awards, Alfa Energy won the Consumer Champion award, and in 2015, Senior Energy Consultant Diana Bebic won the Unsung Hero Award.
The winners will be announced on 28 June 2017 at the Honourable Artillery Company grounds in London.
